Tasks
DinkyTask combines multiple task types in one family workflow, so learning, routines, and review can all live in the same system.
Task types
- Quiz — questions with automatic checking.
- Matching — connect words, concepts, or pairs.
- Reading — reading aloud with checking.
- Video — track educational video viewing.
- Habit — quick completion of daily routines.
- Photo — image-based proof of completion.
Learning materials in a separate library
The old “study material task” has moved into a separate learning-material library. Parents can type in or import material, process it into short and detailed summaries, build categorized question banks, start quizzes, dedicated practice, AI Homework Helper topics, and create listenable narration.
Practice from learning material
Processed learning materials can have a dedicated practice mode. Children answer one question at a time, progress is saved and can resume after refresh, and results are shown only at the end. Parents can configure rewards and control practice reminders per child.
Clone plans for recurring days
When days are similar, parents can quickly clone an older daily plan to a new date and adjust it as needed.
AI assistance
The app can generate quizzes and matching tasks, create reading texts, process learning materials, generate questions from existing material, start AI Homework Helper topics, and extract text from book or notebook photos. Parents still keep the review role when AI is involved.
Required and bonus
- Required tasks award the exact ⭐ star value configured on the task when approved.
- Bonus tasks do not block plan completion, but approved bonus tasks award their configured 💎 diamond value.
- Points are credited when the plan is evaluated, not separately at the moment of each submission.
This keeps the reward value clear up front, while partial/failed plans can still keep the rewards from tasks that were already approved.
