Rewards
In the reward shop, children redeem the points they earned for real rewards defined by the family.
How it works
- The child submits the tasks in a plan.
- Approved required tasks award exactly their configured ⭐ star value; approved bonus tasks award exactly their configured 💎 diamond value.
- Points are credited when the plan is evaluated. A partial/failed plan can still keep rewards from tasks that were already approved.
- The child requests a reward in the shop.
- The parent approves or rejects it.
What the parent configures
- reward name and emoji
- star cost and optional diamond cost
- stock, if the reward is not unlimited
Good practice
- Include cheap rewards that can be reached quickly.
- Also include bigger weekly or monthly goals.
- Use diamonds for the more premium rewards.
Parent control
Rewards are not auto-approved. That matters, because it turns points into real family agreements rather than a fully automatic vending machine.
