Terms of Service

Effective: April 25, 2026

DinkyTask is a beta family task management and learning support service. By using the service, you accept these terms.

1. What the service is

DinkyTask helps parents and children manage tasks, build daily plans, handle rewards, and optionally use AI-powered features.

2. Accounts and child use

  • Child accounts may only be created by a parent or legal guardian.
  • The parent is responsible for supervising the child account.
  • AI features for children do not replace parental judgment.

3. Beta status

The service is currently in beta. Features, copy, limits, pricing, and behavior may change. Bugs, interruptions, and evolving workflows may occur.

4. AI features

  • AI output may be wrong or incomplete.
  • The parent is responsible for deciding whether AI-generated content is appropriate.
  • AI features consume AI credits and may depend on a paid plan.
  • If the AI credit allowance runs out, core task-management features may continue while AI features pause.

5. Plans and subscriptions

DinkyTask currently uses three high-level states: trial, premium, and free.

  • Trial: temporary full premium access with a one-time AI credit allowance.
  • Premium: active paid plan with a monthly AI credit allowance.
  • Free: base functionality without AI access or without remaining AI credit allowance.

When the trial expires, the family moves to free unless a premium subscription has started. Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe.

6. Cancellation and refund policy

Subscriptions can be cancelled through the Stripe-powered subscription management page, or handled through support if help is needed. For a normal cancellation, the subscription usually remains active until the end of the current billing period and then expires.

Because DinkyTask is a digital subscription service that provides access to paid features, we do not provide automatic prorated refunds for partially used billing periods. The trial period exists so the service can be evaluated before purchase.

Refund requests can be submitted through the official contact channel. We review requests individually, especially in cases such as:

  • duplicate charges or clear billing errors,
  • a technical problem that made the paid service materially unusable,
  • mistaken or disputed charges that can be verified in Stripe,
  • individual goodwill cases.

If a refund is approved, it is issued through Stripe. Bank or card-network processing times are outside our control. This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply.

7. Prohibited use

  • uploading unlawful or harmful content,
  • overloading the service or bypassing security protections,
  • attempting unauthorized access or scraping,
  • trying to obtain data belonging to other users.

8. Files and content

You may only upload images, audio, text, or other content that you have the right to use. Some uploaded files are stored only for a limited period for technical or retention reasons and may then be deleted automatically.

9. Availability and changes

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change features, limits, plans, or pricing over time.

10. Contact

If you have questions, cancellation requests, or refund requests, use the official DinkyTask contact form or the public support channels.
