iPhone and iPad installation

On iOS, DinkyTask is installed from Safari as a home screen app, without going through the App Store.

1. Open it in Safari

This only works in Safari. Open:

https://app.dinkytask.com

2. Open the share menu

Tap the Share icon in the bottom bar.

3. Add to Home Screen

Select Add to Home Screen, then confirm.

4. First launch

• DinkyTask appears with its own icon.
• It runs in full-screen mode.
• On iOS 16.4 or newer it can also handle notifications.

Sign in

1. Launch DinkyTask from the home screen.
2. Sign in with the child's account.
3. Use it like a regular app.

Common questions

• No “Add to Home Screen” option? Make sure you are really in Safari, and the device runs at least iOS 16.4.
• How does it update? Automatically, without a separate App Store update flow.
